Meh, I didn't really connect with Tai anyways, but yea, didn't see that coming at all.

I honestly thought the part with Maria was more shocking and emotional by far

Yeah I was playing it high (don't judge me) and it actually really hit me pretty hard. It;s weird playing this game and being so involved, then Playing Fallout and not even feeling a thing except dissatisfaction when your dad dies.

My apologies my xba peoples. I needed to express myself somewhere where it mattered. I figured if you knew then you can relate, if you didnt then the post was too obscure to mean anything. either way, SPOILER:

The maria revalation was VERY emotional, and after that i just kinda sat there and
stared at my screen and mentally asked EPIC games, "wtf do you expect me to do after that?
Fight the locust? are you kidding me?"

but the Tai thing got to me first. First and foremost, Tai brought this sense of honor and faith
to the gears world. He was a man that believed in something greater than the human races
fight for survival. This brought on a purity of life that seemed non existant in this universe. For
this, Tai seemed a perfect candidate to be "rewarded" by the powers that be with good
karma, will, and so forth. Its almost as if his survival was gauranteed in typical storytelling.

And he was one hard SOB to kill. The locust F'd his A pretty bad though. To the point where
they didn't even need to take his life, difficult as that may be. Whatever happened to him, its
hard to imagine that he would give up his faith over.

I didnt see this coming and was very upsetted by it, but i guess it just goes to show what a
good job they did on the story. kudos to josh ortega.

No, it's not the end. The end is much, much more of a letdown. I'd say probably the biggest let down in any game this year. You'll know what I mean when you get around to it.

Its one of those cliffhanger/doesn't tie up or resolution endings. I kinda wanted more since the campaign was much better this time around.

umm ya the quote at the end was cool but they really should have had a definitive ending, but anyways it was still awesome, i can wait but i really hope they dont try for a 4th unless they can really milk up a huge underlying plot twist for the 3rd
