did anyone else get the LE? if so have you tried to download the gold lancer? everytime i try ti comes up with an error message saying the item cannot be downloaded at this time! has anyone else gotten this?

Umm I'll have to let you know as I went straight to playing Horde with some friends and didn't put in any of my codes... I'll try it in a little bit when I get my kids settled down.

Well I just tried my code for the Gold Lancer and it worked just fine without an issue what so ever... Wonder why yours is giving you trouble

Both codes for the map pack and the gold lancer worked for me.

same thing happened to my friend, me and him are thinking that epic or MS didnt register all the codes and some just wont work for the time being

All my codes for lancer/hammer/maps worked fine. If you are still having issues, make sure you arn't using 0's instead of O's and 8's instead of B's. Call the 1800# if you still have issues.

The same thing happened to me any many others but I found out via the Gears forums how to correct the problem. In your xbox dashboard go to account management, download history, click on the gold lancer and download it from there. I tried it and it worked instantly. Good luck, hope this helps you out.

All mines downloaded just fine. Though as of this post I have yet to put the game in. Been checking out the Bonus Disc which is something i never do even though I am always a sucker for the limited/special edition versions that come on.
The creation of Marcus & Dom are features I recommend checking out on the Bonus DVD.
Didnt even notice the exclusive gamerpics were on this disc. Got the Marcus Fenix joint. But for whatever reason, all Gears pics look the same for the most part, but what else can they do to them I guess.

i got the golden lancer assult rifle code from a friend and it worked for me and does anyone have an extra golden lancer code they dont want?

y tried that many times, finally had to call microsoft. after about 3 hours talking to the dude in india trying to figure out what he was saying. they finally sent me a new one and the new code worked! yay!

So they gave you a code over the phone? Did they only have to verify your botched code to provide you a courtesy code?

That's great it worked out for you! ;) But yeah, that is the most annoying shiit every when you talk to someone in another country that can't speak English clear just so MS can penny pench their payroll. That's one reason Americans have a hard time finding jobs now.
Because companies like MS outsource there employees to pay peanuts.

Mine wouldn't work either. I put the cod in, it started downloading, then stopped and said "cannot download" I'm like WTF? So I tried a few more times, nothing, gave up. Tried to redownload again, Sat. and it said the same thing, so I gave up, was going to try to find out today why it wouldn't work.
Started tha game and jumped into a match, went to select my gold hammerburst, and there it was, my awesome gold lancer. Weird caus ethe download never finished. Oh well.
