Hey all, believe it or not but Australia only just got rockband. yes rockband ONE. we dont get rockband 2 for some time yet. we had to wait over a year for it but finally it's here it was released one week before GHWT. Considering i'd heard so many bad things about the rockband instruments i thought i'd go out and buy the whole band edition of GHWT. So i get it home and i set up the drums. loved it. after an hour when im taping my yellow cymbal it's saying im hitting the snare (red) drum. i reset the thing, unplug it, check connections etc. nothing will seem to fix it. i pack up the game, microphone, drums, guitar and return it to be swapped over. get the next set home. try the drums. the orange cymbal is very insensitive and takes my whole strength to hit it. i pack it all up return it. bring my third set home. so far its working well, not great, but ok. my cousins set is now broken after 5 days. and when i talk to my mate today he tells me that everybody he knows who have bought it have experienced the same problems. shame on activision /red octane for making such a POS drum set. After all of the faulty rockband units, you would think that they would have designed a better unit.
and as far as a drum tuner cable, i think its a load of crap. i do not own a pc, i have a mac but the xbox and the mac are at completely different ends of the house. why cant they release a patch into the game to fix the drums?
sorry just really really annoyed. when music and videogames are 2 major things in your life and it is announced that two will become one you cant help but get exited. only to wait a year and be so disappointed.
