I need help on the following challenges in the game: On the skyscraper district where you have to circle around the pharaoh, on Chou Street where you have to grind and reach to the sewage, and on 99th street where you have to grind the gate with the Japanese letters. Thanks.

On the skyscraper district where you have to circle around the pharaoh
This one was the first one I managed to figure out. First off, the pharoah is that weird rotational platform in the middle of the level. Basically it has no purpose that you spin you off into your doom. To successfully do a 360 around the pharoah, do this:
1) Get on the pharoah platform and immediately get off.
2) The platform will zoom all the way up giving you time to get that neon blue rail closest to the pharoah. Grind on that.
3) Jump to the obvious other neon blue grinding rails and by then you have completed the 360 (granted you didn't fall off or accidentally grind on those columns that lead up and force you into the centre).
The other ones I'm having difficulty with unfortunately. Especially the first one (that challenge is the avenue long grind), I've attempted doing that SO many times and I NEVER get it. I'm not sure if I'm missing the plot but I complete the jump-grind sequence and get nothing for it. The second just totally baffles me, I think I have to find the building with that particular Japanese symbol and grind the platform but who know how to do this?
Thank gawd that the points' challenge is given in a total tally rather than just a trick tally. I WAS previously finding that difficult until I finally did a bunch of those air tricks on the halfpipe.
Does anybody know if respraying that graffiti in Chapter 7 gives you anything special? Should I bother, I feel like I'm wasting my time. Guess it gives good time to complete the challenges.
Thanks
PS: Thanks to MastaChief for all the help on this game!

I dont exactly remember how to get the avenue long grind, but I think I got it by grinding the first rail in the beginning and go all the way down to the double rail to the left of it. Im not really sure about what else you grind, but I know you grind those 2.

Huh? what did I do? Did I help you:D ? Anyway I have discovered something. If you are having trouble with point challenges, do this. Get on a rail that is worth 500 points. Now hit the Y buttong like Tap...tap...tap. You have to have a rythm. You should get to the challenge easily. One more thing. you don't have to do all of the spraying. But if you want to do test runs I think you have to. You can enter test runs in the Roboy menu. it is on the far right. For each level you do test runs on. If you get Jet ratings, you get a character and/or graffiti souls. if you get Jet on 3 things for Shibuya terminal, you should get Zero Beat and 5 graffiti souls. cool...huh?

On the D-hill: Avenue long grind, I'm pritty sure you only grind the one rail, no tricks required. I think the rail it means is the long one on the left of the road on the first big hill when your going down hill. I'm not positive, but as soon as I landed off that rail it gave me the soul for it :)
In the bus terminal the symbol is high on the orenge support beams for those green roof-like platforms over the sidewalk, you can get to them if you jump off while going down a rail on one of the stairs. You have to stand on all 13 of them to get the soul. I'm still working on the no-fall part.
On 99th street, the four simbols (first and last are the same) are on the gates-with the stairs and railing under them-in the main area, facing the dragon tower thing. There are 8 gates- 4 sets of 2 -the symbols are on the upper inside of the larger gate(one symbol per set of gates), they go in order that the street challenge says clockwise. I'm still not sure exactly what to grind though.
I don't know how to grind to sewage or much else, i'm only in chapter 5. Hope that helps :D

Randy, I think you must think you are some kind of genius. I beat the game and I know it better than you do. First of all on 99th street you just grind around the rails on the outside. You jump over the gaps not to fall. You go all the way around the area. It is the rail around the dragon tower. The sewage is easy as hell for crying out loud. You just grind the rails then wallride to get to the next rail, then grind on the halfpipe also can be called the sewage pipe. Also for Shibuya Terminal. TO help you guys, you have to hit the green part for the ones with ramps. Also, the slanted one is one of then 13 platforms. The avenue grind is just getting from the top to the bottom, grinding, without falling. Now if you want more info, check out the thread that says JSRF: list the street challenges.
