So, who's got Shadow Complex?

I've played the demo 4 times myself, and love it. Unfortunately, being out of work going on 4 months now, I can't afford to buy it right now.

Anyway, who owns the game, and what are your thoughts so far? Think you can beat it in under 2 hours? Or maybe under 3 hours on insane? Those achievements don't look fun.

I'm sure doing those acheevs will be challenging, but so far about an hour in I'm really enjoying it. Has a very Super Metroid feel to it, well worth the points

Yes indeed, I read through the review earlier. Everything seems positive about the game so far. Can't wait until I either win a copy or get a damn job so I can afford the points.

I "won" a Twitter contest for a game code and the code I got was already used. So needless to say I am trying to avoid this game and block it out of my mind because everytime I see it or hear about it my frustration returns. :cuss: :bang:

This game is sweet. I'm going out and saying, best arcade game EVER! or so far atleast.
I love this game. The combat, the puzzles, the story, the graphics, everything.
My only complaints are the camera at points cuts off visability sometimes, and the shooting at stuff in the background. Sometimes it gets out of wack and off target trying to decide to shoot side or back targets. Other than that, I haven't ran into to many problems, just having fun climbing and blowing stuff up. I can't wait to find the foam gun.

I tried the trial and I loved it. I'll be saving up for it. I can't wait to try the full game though with all the weapons and gadgets.

played some of it and love it. the weapons and items are a nice addition, however, my only gripe is goin for "headshots", esp. when you go for headshots when the enemy is in the background.

Played several times due to the full game glitch, still don't have it though =(

Yeah the full game trial glitch is pretty crazy, but you can't save the game or unlock any achievements anyways so getting the full game is totally worth it.

Heard they patched the game yesterday, so you can't play the full version any more. Figures, they patch that quickly and on a weekend...but Gears of War 2 still hasn't had some of its issues patched and its been about a year. It figures.

If you’re caught pulling a fast one in Shadow Complex, you’ll be removed from the game’s leaderboard, “investigated” for a complete Gamerscore reset, and – if your ill-gained Gamerscore is wiped clean – branded as a cheater on Xbox Live.
So yeah. Stop cheating. Otherwise, you’ll get something far worse than coal in your stocking from Chair Entertainment and Microsoft.

I just beat it, did anyone 100% the first time through? I found it impossible, certain areas got cut off from me.

Yeah I did. I found a way on the bottom right that allowed me to go to the upper right part of the map. Which then let me 100% without triggering the final boss. Once you hit level 20 all the question marks show up on the screen.

Haven't beaten it yet, but definitely logged more than a few hours exploring. :) I'm rather lost in the game at the moment, but I refuse to use a guide to get back on track.

Really hope there will be and also that more developers make games like this. I always enjoyed Metroid like games and haven't played them in ages, but they where my favourite games back in the day.

I heard they would be making DLC if they think people want more, so that could be good although I'd rather have a whole new game.
