Anyone out there interested in this title. I am impatiently waiting for its release, but continue to hear about how it will be using dated graphics and gameplay, doesn't look like it to me from watching the trailers, looks like a great game. I'll be purchasing no matter what the reviews are on it. But what do you guys think? Has anyone seen any live play scenes out there?

Ive been waiting for this game ever since it was announced the videos that are out look really great and harcore mode looks soo awesome pretty pumped about this release if they game is done right has a good chance of blowing bad company away.

ya I can agree with that, I'm a fan of pretty much all war games, and I don't think they made enough improvements/changes to Bad Company 2 to make it a competition shaker...but I will be buying Bad Company 2 also :) Like I said I love war games. Even the crappy ones like glitch laden Soldier of Fortune, i'm stuck in that one, not because the game is hard, but because it will not play any further LOL

You guys do know if we play Hardcore, we have to play all the way through, there are no save. A weekend thing would be better I believe.

There are no saves during a level; however, it does save each time you complete a mission.

Okay so I'm kinda interested. I use to play the original back in the day on pc when I was big in fps games. I'd still rather keyboard mouse despite halo and call of dutys controls being very good with a controller.

But there are so many games... Omgosh (yeah I said lol) so just recently I've gotten Batman: AA and The Beatles RB... but then there is this list of games:

Okay so I just watched the "look and feel" video over at teamxbox and I'm a little more pumped... Weight of gun affects animations... If that much detail is in the whole game.. Woah better watch out.

I'm definitely up for the hardcore playthrough. Gonna have to balance between this and Demon's Souls... then Uncharted 2 a week later. And then Modern Warfare 2... ugh... no breaks from gaming for me this month or next.

I heard xbox magazine UK gave the 360 version an 8/10 and the PS3 version a 7/10.

Also, IGN just did a review (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/103/1031302p3.html)...sounds like the single player campaign is so so with regards to teammate AI but that coop is a blast. scored an 8.1/10

Very challenging game, especially when also dealing with teammate A.I, and even some enemy A.I.

3rd mission, I've been killed once by a fellow squad mate, when I was dressing his wounds, he turned around to fire at a new enemy, though I was in direct line of his new sight.

Also mistook an enemy for a friendly force when he didn't immediately fire. He took about 20 seconds to load a new rocket into an AT-4 launcher then proceeded to blow me away, killing himself in the process.

So I've been playing a lot today and yesterday night. COOP Campaign is a blast as is Infiltration.

The Campaign has done a good job of mixing it up so far. I'm on the 5 or 6th level. The Hardcore mode is brutal. It usually takes 1.5-3.5 hours to beat each level on Hardcore.

There is one glitch I've found so far. If you are standing next to a building and a corpsman comes up to heal you, during the animation the person being healed can get stuck to the wall and not be able to move.

I want to get into this game.. But having a hard time. I know that if I was 20 or 17 when all I did was constantly play games and lots of shooters I would be all over this game loving it.

This games as soon as I fired it up I was like "that looks bad ass". Had a very real world look to it. I read a review and it talked about how the graphics are good but the color palete or whatever didn't allow the grapics to shine... Well I think that is why it looks so good... It looked as if I was dropped on an island during time if war.. Not that I know how that feels, but that's how this game made me feel :).

Now moving on... Since I haven't played games as much as I use to.. And the games more and more having that first level of hand holding and showing you where to go and what to do has obviously made me very rusty... And I didn't realize it until I was a few minutes into the first mission.. Sadly I found myself lost and unsure what to do... Despite there BEng numbered way points and another yellow way point (even now I'm not sure why there is both going on) I realized that duh I gotta listen to the radio chatter telling me what to do... I first arrived at the first way point walking arround unsure what to do and looking through the menus for an objective telling me what to do lol. After a couple of minute I blew up what I was suppose to and started to get into the swing of things. I died a few times gettng into what appeared to be random fre fights and decided to start over fresh. Once I did and focused I started to get things going and felt dumb for my horrible start lol.

I'm still struggling seeing the enemy and gettng down giving orders and really doing good. I've found my self pinned down a few times and I struggle to see the enemy amongst the brush. More often then not I seem to be moving along following the yellow way point and suddenly being fired upon before I see anyone. Not sure if this is by game design or if I'm doing something wrong. Due to this I'm always trying to get the medic or heal myself lol. Also I can't figure out which guy is hurt and needs help from the icons I'm the top left.. It shows orange but don't know which guy to go to.


I think graphics are great.. I like the grand scale, the map is huge. Moving along not knowing what is about to happen kinda builds suspense. For gamers I think this is a very good game, but not for a casual player (this is not a bad thing).

So my schedule sucks right now being on graveyard.. But maybe I'll be able to get online sometime with some of you before I send it back to gamefly.. Brutal legend is coming out soon and want to try that too.

Played it, find it really hardcore.

I only went trough the first mission, need to begin on the second till yet. I played it the first session with a friend on the couch, but that isnt really a good thing, cause we were just messing around, killing teammates (leaving detonators next to corpses, and watching them fly, hehehe)

But when i played a solo session, this is where the game starts to take off. I must say, it's pretty like 'pixel-shooting' cause, detecting enemies is like in real life; a pain in the ass.

It felt like Delta Force : Landwarrior on the PC.

You just dont expect that from something calling themselve a high quality game; hell, it's 2009, things like that shouldnt even suppose to happen. Bugs like these existed in 2003'ish.

Ive just got this today along with Borderlands and im more impressed with borderlands, Dont get me wrong i am impressed with OF: Dragon Rising but i thought i would of been more impressed by it, Borderlands on the other hand is amazingly good! I really Enjoyed playing Fallout 3 and will be gettin it again but Borderlands add that little bit more action i was wanting out of Fallout 3 im made up with it!
