View Full Version : Defense Grid - Anyone got the full game??

Anyone got the full game of Defense Grid? I love the demo but don't want to waste gamer points on the full game if it is not worth it.

So if you have the full game, let me know if it is worth it and if so, why? Do the "puzzles" keep getting better, or should I stick with replaying the demo over and over :)

Yes this game is actually worth buying, I purchased it about 2 weeks ago. It is great. A very good game of strategy. Has a lot of replay value. The maps start out easy and gradually get EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. Its a very entertaining game if you like games of strategy that require a lot of thinking and lots of puzzles.

The achievements aren't too difficult for the most part. The getting all golds achievement is probably the hardest.

I'd say buy it! Its worth the 800 points!

ya i like it, just finished The Awakening Story Mode today. Game is awesome. Got so much replay value...gald I bought it.

Not sure when I will get the gold or silver medal achievements.

Hey we should party up sometime for the maps.. I have silver on all but 3 of the awakening mode so far. Havent finished it but I figured out that well placed and 3rd upgrade towers do a hell of alot of damage than level 1 towers all over the place.. and when you can direct traffic DO IT. Especially making a gauntlet area that they have to go through twice..

Ya I got the silver achievement for the 20 Awakening maps. Gold will be tuff...i think I have about 6 maps where I need to get Golds. Trying to get that achievement before COD:MW2 comes out and all my game time gets sucked into that title.

You don't have to tell me that gold is hard. I tried about 6 or so times just to get gold on one lvl. I feel like giving up on that achievement and move on. Just so many games and achievements I want to get from other games.

I decided to try the borderlands maps....wow...i got through the first one surprisingly easy, the second one, not so much.
