Good Xbox game?

Hi.

I want to buy a new game, can someone recommend me on a good action game , (3rd person preferably ) that worth buying ? (haven;t been in the business for a year or so.. so I am not updated..)

(can be 1st person if it is really outstanding..)
(if there is an option to play in live with people even better .. )

If you can, hold off till the 10th for Modern Warfare 2. It's first person, but it also will have a third person mode.

If your looking for a third person one now, I would recommend Gears of War 2 or GTA IV. The new DLC for GTA just released today and is alot of fun.

The rainbow six vegas series is good but call of duty is probably the best.

dead space is an amazing third person shooter!!! highly recommend

Pick up Borderlands. 4 player co-op FPS / RPG. Fantastic game that is out now with lots of DLC promised.

I agree with the poster that recommend Dead Space, it is an excellent shooter and has great atmosphere.

There are leaked vids and IW has made it official that there will be a 3rd person hardcore, and cage match available on MW2.

It looks as if Forza 3 may well be the first game I'll splash out on since... I can't remember when.
