Xbox 360...

Hello everyone,

Well the xbox 360 has gone back twice before, once covered by warranty the other not. The first time it was scratching up discs, and the second time it went back because it would not work in colour! Everything was just in black and white, this time they charged an arm and a leg to fix it because it was about a week out of warranty...

This time it has got the three red rings of death since the xbox was purchased on the 19 of June 2006 it might have to be paid for and not covered by the extended warranty. You would think that after spend $600 odd Au dollar on it you would be able to just play it until it dies from old age (just like my old PS1 never had any problems with that....

the 2006 360 was garbage...but even if the 360 breaks down a lot it is still the top selling and BEST gaming system out there. Go out and buy a new 360, sell your busted one on eBay for parts, you'd get alittle bit of cash out of the deal. Get a new 360 and PLEASE play it enough so it breaks within warranty time. :) Because 9 time out of 10 if you are a true gramer you'll break it in about a year and still have a tn of time left on your warranty.

OR just become a pc gamer and wish you had an xbox instead LOL No over heating issues and just a little less fun.

I agree with you 100%.I had two break on me and I got to free ones in return from MS.

The number of sales has already increased a lot since the price drop. The PS3 was actually selling better than the Xbox 360 and I think that is what made Microsoft decide to do another price drop.

I Know you can't play PS games on 360 but is there a way I can download it to my xbox or buy online to somehow play it? I was looking to play Resident Evil 1,2,and 3 but I don't have a PS. So Is there anyway I can play it?

i was in the same boat as maximus..... until 2 weeks before the warranty ended. i guess that's somewhat lucky.


now the new one is dying again, and I fear I may be screwed. How much does Microsoft charge for repairing a RROD'd xbox?
