Dashboard Update Dated

Microsoft has announced today that the new dashboard update will happen this coming Tuesday Nov. 17th. This update will be the one that includes Twitter, Facebook, Last FM, and Sky network.

Well this'll be cool I use Twitter somewhat, and Facebook. I wonder if we'll need subscriptions for Last fm and Sky Network

Edit: Well this sucks you "Do" need a subscription for Last FM and Sky Network to use them. As in, you will need a separate subscription to those services to use them plus your gold account I believe.

Last is free, for now. I have heard they are planning on making it a subscribtion service. Sky does require a subscription of sorts. Not to sure on that one as it mostly applies to people in Europe.

Not wanting to complain here, but the dashboard seems way too cluttered now. I liked the old tabs much more than the new system... and the avatars, wtf? Is this the Wii now?

It only seems cluttered if you're going through everything. The only thing I do is click up once then press the A button to play my game, that's about it. Avatars are fun to have imo not like I pay much attention to them.

Ahh finally another one who speaks their mind. glad to see you a bit more active in the forums and online too. Yeah I wouldnt mind an update that allows you to pick what you see and stuff.
