The last elixir of life in Kameo

Okay, I have completed collecting elemental fruits and crystal eyes. I'm almost done with collecting elixirs of life, but I need only one more left and it is in the snow top village. I had to use Major Ruin to cross the gap. I tried hopping then pushing forward, but I just kept hitting the edge and bounced off onto my death. Now, I have been struggling AND struggling to do this successfully. It's just frustrating. Any tips? No matter how obvious they can be, give them to me, please. Lolz.

Thank you for, um, sort of repeating what I just said, lolz. I already did that, like, a trillion gazillion times. Lolz. I even tried standing on different parts of the ledges. Nothing works.

Go to the south side Chom's Den after you leave it. You'll see
an Elixir across a wide gap. Switch to Major Ruin. Go up to the edge. Start
Charging a hot and push forward. Rush mid air so get over to the ledge with
the elixir. Switch to Kameo and drink the elixir. Repeat moves with Major
Ruin to get back.

- Elixir of Life #11 (Location: Snow Top Village)
You may notice that the fence to the right of the den's entrance is missing.
Look across the gap to find an Elixir of Life resting in an alcove. In order
to reach it, change into Major Ruin. Use a charged up Hop and jump off the
edge. At the peak of your jump, use Rush to reach the alcove safely. Drink
the elixir and use the same strategy to return to safety.

Oh yeah I forgot to add one thing. I tried to rush mid air, but I couldn't. I just didn't have enough time before I go down. I guess. I'll keep doing it until I get across. Thanks. :bang:

Man Aino, dishing out the help on such an old game. Hope you figure it out Laz so you can move onto something that's less than 5 years old ;)

What the FAQs fail to mention is that you need hold the left analog stick forward while doing the hop portion. This will make Major Ruin hop forward. At the peek of *that* do your rush and you should be able to make it without trouble.
