I'm not going to let it dishearten me. Although they mention it starts of poor gaming wise they say nothing about the story. Its all tutorial afterall because things are different I will probably get it anyways.

I agree with you...I will wait for you to tell me to buy it or not,because of the DA add-on coming the 16th my friend..:)

360 Achievements just gave it a 82 saying that you have to stick with the game for atleast 10 hours for it to pick up. I'll pass.

I have given up on the FF after 9. I tried to play X, but was dissapointed.
7 was the best and will never be topped, unless they remake it for PS3 like they have rumored.

I'm quite excited for it regardless of the wishy-washy reviews. I know people are ragging on it so I'm going to make my own opinion and get a review up for XBA as soon as I can for other people.

pass... Someone hit the nail on the head. Dragon Age Awakening is coming out in a couple short weeks, thats more rpg than i need for this year.

I honestly do not take g4's advice into consideration at all. For the most part they seem pretty off on a lot of games. Their review system tends to be the same for every game when I look at games like heavy rain there isn't much action of cource, but thats not the point of the game not that its a bad thing but their system seems to be grading the balance of graphics gameplay ect. When I look at a game I tend to overbalance a factor if thats what the game is for. Thats my 38 cents.

I'm more excited for Resonance of Fate. Heard too much stuff to scare me off of this one. It'll be filling entire shelves at the used game store in two weeks, and will be $19.99 new in two months.
