Gears of War 4

Microsoft has released a statement "hinting" that GoW 3 is NOT going to be the last Gears title, but rather "conclude the current story". This is very similar to how Microsoft handled Halo, so i'm sure that with such a popular IP this is not the last time we will see a Gears title. After Halo 3 we have Halo Wars, Halo Reach, Halo: ODST, so a trend can easily be seen.

The Gears world could go on forever outside of Delta squad. There is ALOT of untold and unseen things, along with stuff we have seen, but from other angles.

I personally would love to play through the pendulum wars and see more of the initial invasion. As long as Epic and Cliff are involved, I would stay interested.

I agree wicked that they could literally tell tons of stories outside what we already have seen/know. I would love to see more of Marcus's father and his story.

Just like any other game, the trilogy(any amount really) is just the conclusion of that specific story arc.
