Activision SUED by former IW employees!

Apparently they claim that the dev team was "held hostage" so they would finished MW3. Also they are suing for "unpaid royalties". According to the suit, "Activision has a duty to pay all of the members of the IWEG all of the money they are owed, within 72 hours of the termination of their employment." Activision has failed yet to do so. More info on front page news. :)

Nice work - to my understanding its quite common for games publishers to crap on the developers. They quite obviously have the funds they should suck it up and pay the bonuses - these people have made them (and will make them) a lot of fricken money!!!

UPDATE: Just read about the developers RE leaving EA earlier with the same dispute... lol maybe they are the tards :S

Depends who's actually at fault here though, but I guess you promise something to someone they do what you asked, and you don't pay them, really kinda retarded. But eh what can you do.
