I used to think the same thing, but came to the reality that Rare doesn't give a **** about their customers. tons of us have been screaming for that game for over a decade, and nothing has ever happened. I think honestly KI is dead, and that pisses me off lol.

I just found this out recently a new Mortal Kombat game announced and I like it. Has some good old bloody fatalities and I think it's gunna be badass.

KI = Killer Instinct. It was a very very popular fighting game from Rare where you could control various fighters from a boxer (TJ Combo) to a cybernetic robot (Fulgore) to even a Ninja (Jago). You battle it out on stages where you can knock each other off ledges and what not and there are some stages where you can actually use the stage against your opponent. It was also the first game to deliver the infamous 80, or more, hit combo called and Ultra. Nothing gave me more satisfaction than saying to ppl "why are you walking away, there's still 70 hits left to see?" lol. Plus the over the top announcer was a plus as well. When you pulled off an ultra it dam near screamed (ULTRA.... ULTRA..... ULTRA..) lol. Its a classic

The last time a KI game was released was back in the N64 days, and gamers (including myself) have been doing everything but dam near taking over Rare ourselves to get this game released on the current gen consoles. Well Rare has teased gamers for over 10 years, by putting up pictures of the game cover art in stockings over the mantle for christmas, and things like that, however, they haven't delivered on jack squat for years so a lot of gamers (including me) have shut Rare out of our lives.

Rare a while ago said before an E3 conference that they have a "SURPRISE" in store that apparently "Gamers have been wanting this for years", and it turns out it was Banjo, not KI that got the green light, and thats when the final nails got put in the coffin in my eyes.

which would have been a great announcement, except it WASN"T a BK game. Instead we got a stupid vehicle creator game with the banjo franchise slapped on.

As much as I love the 360, MS can't handle there first and second party devs for S#*T and they've esentially ruined the Rare that many old school Nintendo fans loved.

I agree, you spend over 340 million on a company you'd think they would produce something that would drive sales, and be a showing of why its good to have that company in your pocket. Alas, we all have been let down by Rare, however, we do have to keep in mind that throughout the years Rare has been somewhat of a turmoil company. They have lost tons of staff that were responsible for not only KI but other great projects that we know from back in the day. I guess though when Rare starts saying "we listen to what the public says", we should all start that wonderful chant... "Bull$***...Bull$***...Bull$***" Seriously though, its time for either Rare to close its doors or for them to show that they listen w/ proof. Do I care if Rare has a new logo? no b/c its just the same bull$*** just in a different wrapper.
