Gamestop has already jumped on the pre-order option for Kinect and have given it a price of $149.99

the bundles are rumoured to cost around $400 for 250 gig with kinect and $500 for elite (500 gig) with kinect.

personally I'll be willing to shell out the 150$ when I see games that appeal to me. nothing on the launch list looks remotely interesting.

Well for me I am excited about Kinect and I will be getting it for sure. My family and I have had a Wii for as long as it has been out and it's gotten old and does not read discs very well. For me Kinect is the Wii that Nintendo should have put out. $150 is expensive but $200 for a new Wii with the same old games is even more expensive.

granted to some of us "hardcore" gamers, titles like kinectimals isn't that appealing, however Kinect is bringing us an experience like nothing before. For $150 its a deal and a half. I'm gonna wait on my slim xbox till nov. and just get the 2 together. The system is amazingly responsive, and it kinda threw me off a bit not holding a controller, but after using the system first hand, I can not wait to get this.
