I imagine it's the bare minimum to save games internally. I suppose.

With USB memory sticks being all over the place, storage is not much an issue.

Seems like a stupid idea tbh because once the OS is installed then on top of that any themes and the rest of the crap you wont have much space to download a demo nevermind a full game.

I'm thinking the system can be upgraded like the PS3 is with separate hard drives Sea Gate etc. Not sure so don't take my word for it.

maybe it's for offline gamers you don't need storage for games and dlc that your not able to download

You can buy the 360 hard drives once they are released, but not just any hard drive, they are propitiatory

You cna use portalable flash/hard drives now as storage, so only coming with 4 Gb is fine. Thats more than enough for anything you'll do offline.

Ah, there you go.

Though, it really does suck that you can ONLY use 16 gb of an external HDD's memory.

Do you have a source? Because that doesn't seem too realistic.

Yea but you can have 2 plugged in at a time, so you can have 32Gb of space whenever you need it (hard drive or not)

You can? Wait, how does that work? Lol I've never had two hard drives plugged into anything at the same time.

Yes, lol I know that, I've never had more than one hard drive plugged into any one thing at any one time. Can you use both the 360 and the external at the same time? I'm thinking of getting an external to install games onto and using my 360 HDD for DLC so I don't have to delete burn DLC to install a different game.

Yes you can. Your 360 HD + 2x 16Gb devices (flash or hard drives)

the point is having a low cost system to bundle with kinect for the casuals. same principal as the previous arcade, you can add anything you need to the system when needed.

At least now they are including a (relatively) decent amount of memory. the previous arcades started with nothing and I believe the current ones have an internal 256mb card.
