And on his account if you compare the Xbox to a P4 1.8 it might make a difference with the right video card. The beef isn't with his system, it's that the box is truly superior over the PS2. Now don't get me wrong, when it comes down to the line I will own all three next gen consoles... and the three after that and so on. Right now I've got a box and a PS2 and I'll get a gamecube first chance I get. But the XBOX is soooo superior to PS2 even in all of it's final fantasy glory. It's hardware is just outdated.

Okay, I'll be the first to say the guy is out in left field. But he did make one point that makes sense.

There's been no official word that GTA3 is being made for the Xbox by Microsoft (at least to my knowledge) or GTA3's publisher. So far, the ONLY written confirmation has been by OXM. Let's face it, the media has been known to be wrong on occassion.

Until the people that actually MAKE the game say that they're going to do so, it all comes down to a lot of wishing on our part.

Sorry to burst some people's bubble. And if I'm wrong, show it to me and I'll be behind you (regardless of the fact I'm not too keen on the game). Remember that thinking with your heart is only good in emotional situations.

BTW, I'm a programmer, too, but I can back it up. My company of 3 just finished writing the configuration tool for a new Compaq web server that runs under Linux. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
