Well it should be no suprise that Acclaim that was recently bought by Playdom has had it's doors shut down once again. Acclaim has not made a well rated game in quite some time and judging by the way Devs have been closing their doors, getting rid of projects and employees this news should have not been a shock to anyone. Question is where does it stop? I guess until EA and other huge game compaines own all the smaller Devs out there.

Acclaim did make a pretty good MMO I think it was a Year or two ago.

Hmmm really which one? I can't remember the name but didn't it go free to play in the beginnign of this year if I rememebr correctly.

Nah, must be a different one you're thinking about, the one Acclaim made I think was in 2009 or 08. It was called 2Moons, it wasn't a horrible game my old computer couldn't handle it so I never really got to play it.

yeah this is a sad bit of info. my audio professor worked for Acclaim.

not surprising at all, they haven't made or published anything relevant in years.
