MW3 Midnight Launch

many people going to midnight launches to get their hands on a copy of MW3? I'm looking forward to getting mine at 12 but will probably get there a little after so I don;t have to wait in a line here at my local Gamestop.

Hoping that maybe they will have a few cool giveaways or limited items for those of us going at midnight, but not holding my breath too much for that. Looking forward to getting some Campaign play in, MP and possibly some Spec Ops, should be fun :rockout: :hump:

i delayed in pre ordering the c.e. or whatever version it is so now I'm prob. going to be the .01 percent at my gamestop tonight picking up metal gear solid HD collection. lol hopefully there will be some extra copies that I can pick up latter on. I'm anxious to read the official xba review on it!

uninterested... Ive played multiple games in this franchise and none of them have been good. Im talking specifically about the multiplayer, which is where the replay ability factor comes in. So as far as im concerned, waste of money for a purchase. I'll stick with my Halo, thank you.

But heres a tip for you midnighters: Go to your local 24hr walmart and I can almost guarantee no crowds because the noobs and tools are too busy going to gamestop. Of course, thats if you don't care about specific promotions gamestop gives for preorders.

We've got a DJ, the Call of Duty hummer and jeep, Barbeque, an MW3 Tournament, a cool as hell Fog machine set up with lights and everything, and our DJ is having a raffle for MW3 Swag. I'm no CoD fan anymore, but that's still awesome.

Come now Var, you should know I am a Battlefield man, not CoD, I didn't stay for that silly game... Even though there was a regenerating line of people today coming in to pre-order/pay off their copies of the game... Literally, we'd stab it then it'd regenerate the line was neverending not to mention the friggen phone calls.

"Thank you for calling gamestop where you'll get an extra 50% if you trade in your games towards a used game, this is blahlahlah how can I help you?"

I wasn't working tonight so I didn't stay behind or anything, but I'm sure my manager will be taking pics, so I'll see if he can e-mail me a few.

At HMV you can get MW3 for £9 if you swap it in for BF3

Was one hell of a line at my local Gamestop. If I would've thought about it before I had already done my pre-order I would've just went to Wal-Mart and got my copy and bypassed all of waiting in line BS. I'm enjoying it so far but I think that the campaign is going to be a bit short. :(

I could've told you that :P, at our store alone we had over a thousand pre-orders for MW3, like I said above we had a regenerating line yesterday from the time I clocked in, to the time I clocked out 99% was all for CoD. Glad you're enjoying it.

well done man, join in with us Battlefielders, I previoulsly owned the CoD's but sold them about a month later all the time.

the only decent CoD in my opinion is CoD 4 (MW).

I've just always been a fan of large maps is all, I was a huge MAG fanboy when it released for about a year until it eventually died. I've always been a Battlefield Fan, not Bad Company, poor series whose only purpose was to compete with CoD. I never played BF for the story, just the online component.
