Excuse me if there is a thread, but I couldn't find one.

I've been looking for a new Arcade Game to purchase for a while and this one really stood out to me - I've been playing the trial and enjoying it but one of the biggest complaints about the game is just how much content it withholds from you and makes you pay for, of course this isn't noticeable in an hour long trial at all.

But is it really as bad as they say? And is the DLC even necessary or can you have a perfectly fun experience with what comes out the gate?

I personally found it to be a text book def. of rip off. Worthless, save your MS points for something better.

And are there other 1200 point arcade games you can suggest?

Team Fortress ripoff? Thats the game that i've seen it likened to mostly.

There are a ton of great arcade games you could buy for 1200 or less. Off the top of my head I'd suggest Battlefield 1943, Trials HD, Shadow Complex, Torchlight, Castlevania. All of these are FAR better than GCI and sometimes you can even find them on deals for cheaper. In fact I believe that Konami is doing a sale for a couple days which can allow you to pick up content for a discounted price.

I love TF2 though, so if this is like it, won't I love it?

Wow such mixed feelings in that review! It seemed positive right until the end, then the game was given a 7.7/10 of ten anyway which is a great score! Not sure how to feel.

I didn't like 1943, I felt the maps too large with too few players, causing fragmentation in the action. I didn't like Shadow Complex either and don't feel the need to buy a Castlevania game. But I'll look the other two up.
