As we say goodbye to Bungie and hello to 343, lets take a look to see how big the shoes are the need to be filled.

Yeah you could say that lol. I'm hoping that 343 can get the Halo series back to the days of Halo 3. It's been sooooooooooo long since we've had a Halo game w/ Master Chief.

Absolutely, I'm really curious to see 343's take on the universe. I'm a little up in the air about their changes on paper, but we'll see.

I'm anxious to see how the relationship goes between Master Chief and Cortana. With Cortana in the final stages of her life, could this be the end of the virtual blue babe or will Chief find a way to save her? Maybe she gives her life to save Chief? So many questions, and only time will tell the answers.

I guess that I'm in the minority here. I wasn't super amped by the ending of H3. Since then, I haven't played another game in the 'series.' I'll most likely end up playing the game, I just won't be waiting for it's release like I was with Halo 3.

I will definitely be buying this game and if they come out with a LE console for this game I will probably buy that too. :p

the console thing is something I'd hold off on if it happens. case in point, with the next xbox coming next year and at a price point of over $400 (i know thats just a guess, but it's logical and founded based on previous price points of not just microsoft but sony as well), you wouldn't get a solid investment time. I'm in the same boat as I bought the GoW slim console and dam near leaped off my roof when the next console was slated for a release in 2013. I should have waited and used my old console (which wasn't a slim) and tried to stretch the lifespan of it until the release of the new xbox.

buying consoles (even if you're collecting them) is a risky and cash hungry business and if you have the extra cash and feel like spending it on what will become old, unsupported technology then by all means spend away. but purchasing a console which is used for gaming, online media, or more should be your only expense. Lets say they come out with a Halo 4 Slim console and the price point is $450, then a year from that you end up spending $500 on the "next box", that means that you'll be spending over $1000 after tax and you'll have one console that is supported and another one that has become antiquated and is now not supported from MS.

Think in dollars my friend, not cents.
