dvd region codes ?

does anyone know if u can enter some manufacturers codes to enable the european xbox to play region1 dvds? or will i have to wait for a region x disk to be released, any info would be appreciated

As far as the xbox goes, NO ive never heard of it having that ability. But other DVD players can be manipluated with Codes.

As for DVD X, I'll believe it when I see it. I HOPE it's true, however. I could never bring myself to buy an APEX due to quality issues but I'd love to have a region-free (or selectable) player.
