I picked up Bioshock, as it was a steal at $5. Anything else on that list I already own, played to death or have no interest in. I hope tomorrow's deals are better, along with some better selection. Oh, don't forget, the Gamers Choice Award sale is on PSN right now too. Journey and The Walking Dead: The Video Game are significantly discounted, and if you are a PS Plus member, the discount is even sweeter. I picked up Journey and TWD for only $17.34 thanks to PS Plus.

Be warned, some games, such as the Halo titles, are priced differently in different regions. I tried to buy Reach for $9.99 and the system tried to charge me $19.99 (or 1360 MS points). Once again, we Canadians get the shaft. Yet I was able to buy Bioshock at the US price. Ridiculous. I don't understand why Microsoft seems to always see fit to screw us on pricing willy nilly yet this never happens to me on PSN...US/Canadian prices are always the same.

Hilariously, the above pricing debacle inspired me to go down to my local game and pick up Halo: Reach on disc for $12.99 and Gears of War 3 for $16.99, both used, from one of my local game shops. I don't think this is what MS intended to encourage with their Ultimate Game Sale, as they essentially lost a couple of easy impulse sales from me, but at least I'm happy.

Why they would put all the Gears 3 DLC including the Season Pass on discount this week but not put the actual On Demand game on sale confounds me...
