I have 60, exactly. Even though I sometimes tell myself that's a bit too much, I hear about people having hundreds of them on a single Xbox hard drive, and still have tons of game saves. So... *Starts ripping songs*

Daaaaamn Jade, I only have like 20. Does the X-Box take longer to load when you check out your game saves or do some games take a little longer to load that use the hard drive?

I just ripped 3 house cds. That is all I had the patience to do. It just takes so freakin long to rip a cd to the harddrive.

I have about 15 songs because I don't have a lot of songs is because I don't have the time to wait for it to rip if it was a little bit faster I would of had more on.:)

It just takes so friggin long to rip, and then when you're done ripping, you have to go back and label all the songs. A real lesson in patience. I think we have 25 on ours.

lol yup that's the way to do it. It would be nice if the Xbox had CDDB. Maybe that will be available soon.

It's too bad you can hook the XBOX to your PC and load a bunch of songs through the Ethernet port. That would be a lot faster than using the XBOX to rip CDs.

Of course, I would much prefer that the XBOX support MP3 files if that was the case. I suspect all music is stored as WMA on the XBOX.

Yeah, I had read that all music is stored as a WMA. It only makes since, being the manufacturer and all. Unfortunate, but logical.
