Everything just feels lost

Might just be me, but I wish the games on the new gen took more advantage. I want more content not top of the line graphics. This feels like something that has been a spiral effect forever. If they took a game like Legend of Zelda on the NES, gave it a much polished look, but made the game itself ginormious that would be kick ass. That was just an example by the way. I feel as though I'm playing less and less of a game these days. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes I also agree, not many games take more than just a few hours to complete. I remember Zelda took me months to finish and it is still my favorite game of all time. I don't know if the developers are more interested in the graphics or just don't want to spend the time making a long game. I wouldn't mind a 6 year cycle for Call of Duty if it was made right.
