Hey folks, there is a very informative article from today's Wall Street Journal on the Xbox and third party software developers. I don't have a subscription, but it has been posted on some other websites, at least in part.

I don't have a subscription either so doesn't really do much good. The short version is this:

"Microsoft has had a tough time persuading Japan's video-game-software companies to commit their most popular games to the Xbox. But since popular titles can make or break a system, Microsoft envoys have been hard at work enticing the often-quirky game developers."
