The X-Box Keyboard...anyone know anything about it?

Hey all, im just wondering about the "X-Box Keyboard" thats coming out soon...
a couple of the things i heard about it sound kinda retarded to me
like its gonna be a white keyboard....i hope that its a black keyboard with lime green buttons to match the X-Box console itelf, the controllers, and the DVD remote. If they make it white, that would be downsyndrom...

also, will we be able to surf the net with our X-BOX's???
that would be hype...

and , is there anyway we can change our X-BOX background?
cause its so easy to do on the comp!!! xbox should come out with a CD that has a bunch of different backgrounds...
like porn ones, etc...or even if you could upload pictures to the background from your comp (over gamespy) that would be sick

I saw a picture of the keyboard and it was black. But, I can't honestly tell you what it's used for yet :confused:

i'm not sure....but the rumors i've heard is that keyboard that ya'll might have seen is being used strictly for the xbox gameshark that will be released...but that does arrise a good question....what are they gonna use for surfing the web when xboxonline rolls out ( just saying xboxonlin makes me wanna drool):p

Aight, here's tha scoop. The keyboard is being released by Interact (Gameshark Company). The keyboard is all black with green letters and numbers on the keys. The keyboard will only be used to enter Gameshark codes easier, and to maybe put song names in. It will not be used to surf the web. As of yet the XBox will not surf the web.

The only reason I would buy this sucker is if it came with a mouse... then we could end the fussin' over the controls of FPS's on the Xbox.... I mean Unreal is coming soon as are a LOT of great FPS titles... I wonder if a mouse in the cards for the Xbox?

I personally would hope so, and I just hope it is black with a green laser that would be awesome!

I wish you people would learn to read. You can ONLY use it to put in gameshar codes. YOU CAN NOT USE IT TO PLAY GAMES there will be NO MOUSE. GET OVER IT, THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUCK.

Actually under the description for the Interact keyboard it says for entering in gameshark codes and for keyboard compatible games. Sounds like more than just for the gameshark if you ask me.

Personally, I like the XBox controllers when play FPSs. I find that playing FPSs with a keyboard and mouse is not very challenging. I mean, getting a head shot has to be the easiest thing possible with a mouse and keyboard. I find that pretty lame as it isn't much of a challenge. That's just me. I like to keep things fair and have everyone using the same type of controller so no one has an advantage.

By the way, I understand that Unreal Championship's gameplay is going to be tailored to the XBox controller. I can't wait for this game!!!!!!

na man i find using the keyboard and mouse alot better...its not thats it easier, its just less confusing cuz theres so many things that u have to do...plus if u where to play a real fps game u would have 2 have a lot of buttons to buy ur weapon and ur armor and ammo, thats why its so good to polay w/ keyboard

the controller is perfect...
look at halo!

The controller is the best I've seen for a controller and FPS but it is far from perfect, Halo included.

It is hard to just give up 8 hardcore years of keyboard and mouse control for FPS for a lesser counterpart, a console controller.

It is fine for those who never really got into the mouse and keyboard on the PC but for those have mastered that it is an insult to FPS.

That makes a lot of sense. But, I'm a huge fan of Halo. I, primarily, played DOOM on my PC back in the day. Pretty much after that, I mainly have been playing on consoles. So, I guess I have somewhat of a bias going since I don't have extensive experience playing FPSs on a keyboard.

Man, all I know is that I can hardly wait for Unreal Championship! I understand that this game is tailored to the XBox controller! Should be a major hit! :)
