Okay I would just like to point out how amazing the Xbox is and dispite the poor(ish) adverts currently presented for the European launch that the Xbox will get PS2 fans flocking, all because of the games.
The game not known to the UK PS2 fan would be Halo. An obvious choice for any Xbox addict, and rightly so. The word will spread with this game, and it WILL become popular. (UK release: 14th March)
Games that will attract the people:
14 March - Project Gotham Racing as a Ridge Racer and GT alternative, and also a MSR (Dreamcast) "update"
14 March - Dead or Alive 3 over DOA2 (PS2 and Dreamcast)
14 March - Jet Set Radio Future to attract the Dreamcast fanatic.
14 March - Champ Manager 01/02 to attract the Football (soccer) fan and PC gamer. A good game, but can get boring.
14 March - Star Wars Obi Wan for Sci-Fi fans.
14 March - Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 as an alternative for PS2s title.
31 May - WWF RAW and Legends Of Wrestling for the wrestling fan and an alternative for SD3!
