Hideo said that was a play it by ear feature, he pulled it at the last minute.
heh i thought it was terrible actually. especially when they say the name of the tricks.. lol a 5-0 grind was called a five zero grind

He must have played the PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance to have witnessed the skateboarding feature.
i played it when i borrowed my friend's ps2.. uggh i dont like that game
Metal Gear solid should stay on the playstation, what i mean is that this is where the much improved character was born and playing it on any other system to me feels alienated.
Yeah Funky for some reason I feel the same way. I have both versions of Substance for the xbox and ps2 and whenever I play the xbox version it just doesn't have the same feeling as it does when you play it on PS2. Same goes for Splinter Cell, that should stay on the Xbox instead of being ported over to the other systems.Quote:

So far i think that mgs1 on the original playstation was the best one. It just seemed like the story was just thrown together for substance.
I totaly agree MGS 1 was the best but it was to short
