GTA3 - comin to Xbox May 31st, but its 80 freaking dollars... is this true?
if you import it from the UK... since the game was made there.
Isn't DMA like, the European publisher, while Take 2 is the North American one?
Does the DVD Region coding in the xbox affect games? If so wouldn't it render import games useless?
I remember when Nintendo 64 games used to cost $80.
But know we raise a new question...Is GTA3 for the Xbox worth $80?
80 bucks is just way to much for a video game. It is ridicilous (sp?). I think 50 bucks is usually to much for the majority of games out there.
There has been NO CONFIRMATION of a North American release for GTA3. The $80.00 figure is just what the game would cost in US dollars if we were to purchase it in Europe.
IF (and that seems to be a big if right now) GTA3 comes to Xbox in the states, you can be assured that it won't cost $80.00.
Who the hell would market a game for $80 and expect people to buy it, anyway?

Everyone: Read Van's statement here. He is exactly correct. IF GTA3 comes to the XBox here in North America, it will be $49.99 (or around there, depending on where you actually purchase the game since some stores mark the price up $5 - $10, just as certain stores do with all XBox games).
In Canada most of our games are 80 bucks. So if you think one game is bad at that price, imagine almost ALL of them that much here. By the way 110 bucks for that game in my country? Forget it!!!!!!! I could buy five lap dances and a couple beers with that money.:p

games in canada are normalliy 80(cdn) so i wont mind if its 80 here in canada :d
