You have to Train in what armor you use to get the rating good also. Like, I have a pretty good Light Armor rating, 100. :p And I use a full suit of Glass Armor. My armor rating is I think around 170, give or take.Quote:

well glass is the best light armor. stick with it since thats what ur best with.
Yeah, you have to make sure you train with whatever armor your using, if you use Glass Armor and only have a 50 Light Armor rating, it won't be as high.
I train in heavy armor and my armor rating can get as low as 49 or can get as high as 69. I really want the best heavy armor in the game so I can duel Varus Vantinius.:)
I have glass armour and my armour skill is 78 and my armour rating is 126 can this get higher?

my armor is deardric with the dragonbone cauris but the thing that ****ses me off is that i dropped my deadric boots (****) and i cant find them i even went back to the EXACT spot where i dropped them, i was levatating and dropped them but now i cant find them, but ne ways my armor rating is 226 when its all fully repaired:cool:
I've got 2 pieces:
Boots of the Apostle(light)
Cuirass of the Savior's Hide(light)
Both have an armor value of 242.
The boots are found in Berandas on a corpse, and the cuirass I found in Tel Fyr in a closet on the top level.
Oh, if you need coin, goto Tel Fyr. The place has about 300 dwemer coins(50gp worth each), along with a whole bunch of other dwemer stuff. Just watch out for the corpus dudes.
i got curias of saviors hide too. the armor rating isnt 242 its more like 40. it just has resist magica 60%.
It's was a misunderstanding. For someone who do not understand what i'm saying: i want some cuirass (heavy armor) that has defense 100 and up. Sorry for confusion... I'm searching everywhere, i need a good armor to deal with Lord Vivec.

Actually, right now for me it's at 266. I bumped up my light armor skill to 100. It's about 100 points better than glass. The boots of the apostle are 266 too.Quote:

It is determined by your skill. I just wonder what they are made of, and if there are any more pieces like it.(gauntlets, pauldrons, greaves, helmet)
