i heard this game is too hard...i was going to go and pick it up but i heard people saying its just too tough...any opinions?

Too tough? Dude, I don't think so...I think it's perfect! :) I love Rallisport Challenge!! It's probably the best racing game I have ever played...not only on a console, but in the arcade as well! It's arguably the best rally racing game to date :)
You can always make a new driver profile setup as a beginner but I played though on that level just so I could get all the cars when I play multiplayer. Just a warning beginner is just way to easy!
Yeah, that's what I thought! I am on Normal and haven't played it on Easy mode...So far, so good...I don't have all the cars unlocked...but, I'm really pumped up to unlock the Toyota Tacoma! Man, that's gonna be sweet! :)Quote:

I'm loving this game! I haven't even changed the settings (except for the music) so I'm assuming I'm on Normal, but damn it can get hard! It's too fun though, no way would I not get this game!

I am a racing fan, as long as there is plenty of room for
destruction and chaos.
Would this game fit the the bill?

Maximus, why are you so pumped to unlock the tacoma?
I have that car, it is okay, but not that great compared to the other cars available in the unlimited series. With a name like tacoma, it should be a truck, but like all cars in the unlimited series, it is a car chassis with a custom lightweight body on it that doesn't resemble any real car. It has huge fins and front spoilers and is wicked fast, (but so are all the other unlimited cars)
just curious, didn't know if you thought it was the actual toyota tacoma pickup truck or something

I completely agree, This game is by far one of THE best racing games out there across all platforms and styles of racing. The realism is great, and the graphics are astounding. The control is very presise.
My only wish is that Rally racing would catch on more in America.
Maybe this game will get more people interested - (i can only hope)
This game blows PGR away in terms of fun, and skill required.
You must pick this game up, and when you do, you won't be able to put it down.
the only thing i would change in the game is the ability to restart a race or a tournament without having to hit start, quit, then select quit again, and wait for the screens and stuff, just takes a while if i bomb the first race of a tournament or something. It would be nice if icould just hit start, and retry or restart, and it would plop me back at the beginning, but that is just me.
It is a truly enjoyable game - challenging and realistic

If you've got friends this game is just right for you, heck even if you're a troll locked away by yourself in a dark stanky dungeon then this game is for U. It fills single and multiplayer roles very well.
