Heh, don't pay attention to the reviews anyway. We are all intelligent enough to make our own judgments. I'm going to buy it, and already I'll say it gets a 9.5.:D :D
It got a 9.2 from IGN. Looks liek a good game to get.
i guess if gamespot rates a xbox game very high it must be a good game since they rarely rate xbox games high....this game is a must imo :p

You know...here's a thought, though....You see, Gamespot is notorius for being a bunch of PoS2 fanboys and rate PS2 games higher than a straight across port to the XBox. With that in mind and their typically low standards they have for PS2 games, this could mean that Mech Assault would be bad ass for the PS2, but, only mediocre for the XBox.Quote:

I'm going to rent it first before buying it. If I like it, I'll trade a couple of my games (that I don't play) and pick it up. :)
I would normally rent it before buying it. But, it looked fun as it was, and it being LIVE enabled only encourages me. Ghost Recon, UC, MechAssault, and Splinter Cell make up my line up for winter 2002. :D
This is what my friends and I have said all along. Take any "stellar' game for PS2, port it to the xbox, and it becomes a mediocre title next to some of the other xbox titles. This theory is the exact reason why a straight port from PS2 will get a higher score on PS2 than on the xbox, because they have to review it in comparison to other titles on the system.Quote:

Im getting Mech Assault as soon as i get money for it, and my that time, it'll probably be out. Who cares what some idiot at a website says, what makes his opinion better than mine or anyone else's? nothing, so dont listen to reviews, play the game yourself and see if you like it.
