Halo enters All Format Top 10 in Japan!

The Xbox saving grace does well, very well in Japan, and we thought they didn’t like FPS!

Unconfirmed Japanese sales reports today disclosed that Halo has entered the All Format Top 10 at Position #4, the highest position yet for an Xbox title. If indeed true, this is a fantastic achievement for the Xbox in Japan after its tough times there and marks an unusually high position for a FPS, a genre that doesn’t have many fans in Japan.

Could this change the Xbox fortunes in Japan, has Halo sold the Xbox in Japan? Only time will tell, but you can bet TVG will keep you up-to-date with all the latest happenings.

This is GREAT news. I really want the foreign sales to go up because they affect us Americans, too.

Now let's see some of those Japanese exclusive titles brought to to North America. Fair is fair.

man...this would definately sell more xbox in japan...hopefully now the devs there will look more into the xbox than just porting mediocre games on it

This is good news, but don't get excited yet...it's unofficial, and it's probably only for a weeks worth of sales. This doesn't mean anything. Xbox has to keep sales up every week, not just one time when a new game comes out.

I am as excited as the rest of you if anyone has link to look this up please post it.

Personally, I'd written off the Japanese market, or at least until Xbox2 (whatever it will be called) came out.

As much as I like to think I don't care about sales, more for MS means more for my gaming experience.
