I don't know what the story is with this but the link takes you to a page that clearly reads Wednesday, 4/9/02 as today's date.
It will be out Today or tomorrow but probably today

Hawkeye, I think I was thrying to make the same point as you. Here in the USA we list the month / day / year. In the UK I think they list the day / month / year.
Either way, I went and found the official Sega press release and the game started shipping yesterday.
Probably that's a European website, with a backwards European date, giving a European release date of November 1.
But that's just my guess.

That news article is worthless,why? Cause I have Sega GT 2002 in my Xbox right now.
thats the british release date. the site is british.
I got my copy also. There IS multiplayer with split screen 2 car head to head racing. I only had time to do one quick race with a Lotus. It left a good first impression. I'll know more tonight. Btw, I put the difficulty on Easy and won the race, so it is pretty easy to just pick up.
