The Japanese market is so finicky in that it only follows the trendiest of trends. They only follow the candy coated BS that companies push out the door as quick as possible. Pokemon is a pure prime example of this...and then when the crappy animation and artistry of generic "Sailor Moon" anime made it over here the kids went insane because it was the new thing. Someone with a giant droplet, over sized eyes, miniature mouth, nostrils instead of a nose, hair always moving in the wind, jump 70 feet in the air for 25 minutes straight, rediculously characterized and annoying is not what I consider entertainment, nor would I EVER consider it quality.
I'd watch other anime films if they were done well...but even then the Japanese style and story lines don't translate very well into English. And this Xbox is just another one of those BS candy coated pushed out the door trends. It's white...get over it. It has some squiggles on the top...so what?
It's just the processor. If my dvd player was a giant cinder block I could care less, I would rather it play really well and do what it is intended to do rather than have to sell it and get the nice new spiffy lookin one.... why even bother with these 'special edition' Xboxes....same Xbox, now with a candy coated shell... oh boy
