When can you preorder Xbox?

HI all,

I'm new here... and I want to buy Xbox for my husband's b-day coming up in November. I know this game console will be impossible to come by so close to the release date, is there anywhere I can preorder it? Please help!!!

and a 8 mb memory card.

I'm gonna buy the MadCatz wireless controllers for $50 when they come out at the launch date.

Piece of Advice,

Be careful when ordering from a store that is taking pre-orders before sept 1st. MS hasn't given permission yet for stores to allow preorders cuz the stores haven't yet received the number of consoles they're getting.

If you go to gamestop and you are 100,001 on the list and they are only given 100,000 boxes, you're out of luck.

hey do all preorders make u get bundle deals or is it for reserving the xbox for u?

I don't think so, I think its just EB and Gamestop.
