MS doesnt care enough about Xbox to buy out the compitition, even so, MS doesnt have enough $ to make it worth Nintendo's while considering how much they make per year all over the world.

nintendo is not publicly traded anyways... and it doesnt seem like nintendo would sell themselves to anybody... especially microsoft. and isnt resident evil and metroid made by capcom? microsoft would have to buy capcom out also to get those games

Metroid is a 1st party Nintendo game. RE is of course Capcoms.
