Contrary to what all the ps2 fanboys have been saying about it, it is now official that GTA3 is coming for xbox. I was in my local Babbages today and they have a sign up announcing they are taking reserves for it. They don't have a set release date , but they ARE taking reserves for it.

They did that pretty early on with Mission Impossible for the N64 and that took forever to finally come out. That had to be somewhere in the top 10 for the biggest gaming disappointments of all time.

Yo dude, dont try to twist our words up.
We said it's not OFFICALLY COFIRMED for Xbox. We never said it was not in production, and if you ask me (which I know you will) I think not only is it in production, but it's complete.
it will only be cofirmed once the sony exclusive contract deal is over or near it's end.

And to thunderkiss, just because stores take pre-orders mean absolutely nothing!
Remember Half-Life on DC? yeah, thought so. i can name atleast 20 games that you can pre-order that are not even coming out.
GTa3 will come out on Xbox, but it has not offically been confirmed for release by Microsoft or Rockstar.

If you head to the Take Two Xbox site you will see 2 games listed: 4x4 EVO2 and Max Payne. What you won't find is any mention of GTA3. However, head over to Amazon.co.uk and you will see a nice fat listing for GTA3 for Xbox - due date: May 31, 2002.
