NBA 2k2 Created Players

I am having trouble getting created players into Franchise and Season mode on my team. Also wasn't able to put them on a created team. Whenever I try the player I created is nowhere to be found, and when I exit the mode I have to load them again from saved exibition, any help please

1) A created player can not be in franchise mode

2) I think the Team create feature has a bug in it
