    Lightbulb Would you...(important question inside)

Would you buy an X-Box even if you couldn't get broadband in your area?

I was planning on buying an X-Box but once I found out it wouldn't be supporting modems I was very disappointed...and been thinking about getting a Playstation 2.

So, what do you guys think? She I just buy a X-Box to play games single-player...and wait till sometime in the future when I could get broadband?

What would you guys do in my position?

id still get xbox cuz youd be able to play multiplayer in 2002 which isnt that far off and if u buy a couple of games and rent games after when u beat the ones u own then itll still be fun

Badlittlemonkey, you said I'd be able to play online in 2002?

Is X-Box planning on releasing a modem?

there should be 2 diff sections on multiplayer 1 for cable and dsl and the other one for 56kers and for the 56kers ud need a pass to get into a specific cable game in case u wanted to play with a friend

guys, thats not fair to the 56kers
    just ****ing with ya,
i agree, we pay more for a faster connection, and we shouldn't pay for 56kers to lag us out
