Games Region Encoded

Hi,

I haven't found ony any XBox Internet page something about playability of games in different regions of the world.

Maybe someone can help. I am from Europe. Expected release date is around March 2002. US release is November 8th. I don't want to wait half a year till it's avaiable over here. So my question is, can I play all games released in Europe on an US XBox and can I play US games on an European XBox??
