3D-Shooter playable without keyboard and mouse??

I cannot believe that a 3D-Shooter like Halo is playable with only a controller like the XBox has. I have played 3D-Shooters (First Person) on some other consoles and it was absolutely uncontrolable. You definetly need a mouse and keyboard. How can you strafe jump shoot and look with a controller at one time? I can't.

Well some people will like it and some won't...and I'm sure at some point some 3rd party developer will make a keyboard and mouse for the x box..

it's easy, u get one joystick/analog stick for sidestep+forward/backward, and the other one for aiming, the back button is for shooting,

so u can easily strafe, jump and shoot

they might have some options on controls like if u dont like the analog joystick being strafe and that u can use the d pad to strafe and stuff like that

Yeah golden eye handles well with controller.

but u have to hit R to go into aiming mode and all u can do i move half a meter to left or right while ur aiming

u sure about the keyboard things cuz microsoft said that in substitute fo rthe keyboard they're doin the head set thing

ya but it dosnt mean you need to type the kb is good for like HL and stuff but you use th head set to communicate

and how would u be able to create things like game names do u speak and it s like u talk it types?

i was wondering about that! if there is like 10 people playing a game how could you understand what someone was saying??

ok room names would be most likly text and talking someone made a statment about getting mad at dieing in unreal championship and being able to yell at all 32 ppl but i see what your saying 32 ppl talking at once would be chaos so you can prolly select a name from a menu and talk to them only or somthing kinda like a privite message...
