    Thumbs down TXB is gone

Just to let everyone know, TeamXbox (.com) has shutdown because of financial situations. Currently they are closed indefinatly, but there is a possibility that they MIGHT return.

    Default I'm in shock.

Here's what you see when you try to get there now.

We regret to inform our faithfull viewers that TXB is down at the current time due to an inability to continue to afford our monthly costs. The site is growing faster than the internet economy and we are simply not bringing in enough revenue to make up for the huge growth the site has got. Our site has tripled in traffic over the past 2 months and the increase in bandwidth is more then we can make up for. Since we have started, we have funded this site out of our own money, and we have no more to put in toward the site.
Just tell me where to send a donation.

I am also a TeamXbox refugee. Microsoft should help out with web hosting for sites like TXB and Xboxaddict.

If TBX goes down and all their fans flood this site... then what? No fan site has an unlimited budget for bandwidth. The popularity of the Xbox could cripple fan sites.

    ACK!!

Ok, The TeamXbox staff is suggesting that you email Microsoft at:

    feedback@xbox.com

and tell them that you love the Xbox and Xbox.com and that TeamXbox is gone and that MS should help them etc.

    I can't believe it's gone.

I really hope they get back on their feet. And I really hope that MS will take them under their wing and give them support. With MS behind them we won't have to worry of these things happening.

I just sent my email out. Suggesting that Microsoft needs to use some of that $500 million war chest to bail sites like teamxbox and help out sites like xboxaddict.

The first thing when I got the message on the website was go to Xbox.com and write to them asking them to help TeamXbox. I really hope they listen.

Remember people, just rally behind TeamXbox and MS will have to listen.

    So the email is feedback@xbox.com

And don't forget to put down http://www.teamxbox.com and shockwaves email. His email is shockwave@teamxbox.com

Please help TeamXbox, they need it the most now.

The TXB forums were the best so far this forum is the only one that comes close to TXB. Lets just hope that X-addict is as good with the news.

I came from teamxbox also. I have visited here several times but never visisted the forums. Kinda sucks though since I was visiting that site since last year. I went by the same name there as here.

10q! You know I read a Steven King story about a guy who had little eyeballs growing out of his hand. I still have nightmares about that.

Here's another Avatar I use. It's Wally from Redmeat.com. He's eating Pikachu. He eats one for every day until the Xbox comes out. 27 right now.
