Your character has skills, as I'm sure you already know. Like Agents have Light Armor as a major one, so if you were an Agent, you'd want to use Light Armor.
So if you were a character that had a Major Skill as Heavy Armor, you'd want to pick the heavy instead of Light.


That's how I think it works anyway.

I have both Glass armor and Orcish armor...glass armor is light but medium armor is one of my main skills, so I chose the orcish.
