Can someone explain to me how to trap something in a soul gem?

Anybody? And what can you do when you do trap something?

to trap something u use a spell or the umbra that does sole trap for 60 or 120sec cant think of the name but after the spell hits the thing u wanna trap kill it, but make sure u have a sole gem with u other wise it wont work. once its dead if u kill it in the time limit (60sec) u will have trapped it. but things stronger beasts need stronger gems. and u can enchant items with the sole gems that have a sole in them
