Does anyone make training spells to train themselves?

Here is something that I tried, but I am not sure whether I am going to use them or not.

1) Go to a mages guild or other person that lets you create a spell.
2) Create a spell called Train Destruction (or whatever school you want)
3) Make the spell something like - Fire Damage 0 points for 0 seconds on touch.

You can then cast this spell for one Magicka point and train your destruction.

What do you guys think....Is this a glitch in the game or is this just one way to be a do it yourselfer?

It's not a glich just a very slick way to train your self. Cuz just like the other skills if you use it over and over and over eventually your increase the level of that skill. and to make a spell like that would be the same way as the weapons but it won't do anything but it'll count as you casted the spell.

Cool idea. I guess its no different than jumping all of the time to raise your athletics.

I made a 1 point spell for every casting skill to use whenever Im travelling.
It gets to a point to where it takes forever though
