Xbox CD Drive and Hard Drive

I was flippin through the xbox manual tryin to find this, but couldn't. How fast is the cd drive on the xbox? 8x? 16x? i noticed it burns songs onto it pretty quickly.

Also, I saw a post on this earlier, but I don't think it really answered the question. Does anyone know the exact number of how much memory is on the xbox? my friend said there is 100,000 blocks, but i don't believe that. i heard there is more. is there? I only have about 6,000 blocks of my stuff on there. thanks you all...peace

As far as I know it is 50, don't know how many blocks the + adds. The HD is also either 8 or 10G,

sorry bout the double post.....but gawdd*mn that is a sh*tload of memory. I had no idea it had THAT much...I always thought it had 100,000 blocks. so really since i've only used about 8,000 blocks...and if there are 310,000 approx total...i've used bout 2.58% of my space...which is about nothing! i have a save or two (actually about 10 saves in halo...all my friends' profiles) for each game! xbox is off the f*ckin chains!!!!
