go to the secret master thief, train your security up to 25 (maybe 30 just to be safe), then buy a secret grandmaster's lockpick. that should let you open it.

Security is (I'm guessing) 70 on the low side 80 on the high. I have yet to encounter anything I can't open. Even journeyman lockpick hasn't failed me in quite a while.

That is to say it might take more than one try, but it will open virtually everything. Once you are master thief you will receive the skeleton key. I've yet to use it, but I assume it will open most anything.

Save it for when you need it.

Ooh, your powers of deduction are exceptional. I can't allow you to waste them here when there are so many crimes going unsolved at this very moment. Go, go, for the good of the city

Jim Stacey, the master thief, is in the book store in the Foreign Quarter Waistworks. You can kill him, and take the key if you want. He gave it to me when I became the new master thief.

I don't even use it though. I left it in my stronghold, like a keepsake. My security is at 100, so I can open any lock, even a 100 level lock, with my trusty apprentice's lockpick, without failing even once.

Thank You! Was it pretty hard to get to master thief? And, what race and sign are you?
